The Gilmore Foundation will not be awarding additional new grants during the calendar year 2008. We will continue funding the programs where we have multiple year commitments. The Foundation will invite charitable organizations to submit proposals for funding during the first calendar quarter of 2009. 

From our humble beginnings in 1916 we have never lost sight of the founding tenet left to us by Mr. E. D. Gilmore -'To Benefit Humanity'. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for all residents of Monroe County.

Amory Middle School Computer Lab, 2006 grant project

Groundbreaking Ceremony held for The Gilmore Foundation Conference Center.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Monday, April 24, 2006 at 10 am at the Gilmore Foundation Conference Center site behind the Amory Regional Museum. The Foundation expects to open the Conference Center April, 2007.
